Yes, it is possible but it's very risky and few people can do it well enough to make a living from gambling alone. You are far better off accepting the truth. You have/had beginner's luck. If you like to play, continue to do so but only for fun and with money you can afford to lose.
When the wagers are split 50-50, then the house is guaranteed a profit.
